Summary:

Big changes are coming to our industry, and they’ll impact contractors right here on the Gulf Coast. With AFFF now classified as hazardous under EPA rules and stricter PFAS limits in drinking water, liability and compliance challenges are growing for local businesses, airports, shipyards, and refineries. This session breaks down what PFAS really are, how foam and clean agents differ, and what these regulations mean for your day-to-day operations. We’ll talk disposal, retrofits, and safer alternatives, giving you the practical knowledge to protect your customers, your crews, and your community while staying ahead of regulatory changes.
