Topic? The NFPA 13 2019 Update
The 2019 Revision Cycle for NFPA 13 included a complete reorganization of the Standard. The presentation will explore the scope and content of that reorganization along with the rational behind the change. A discussion regarding how to logically navigate the new format will be presented with guidance provided on available resources to find where things have moved. Additionally, significant technical changes in the Standard will be presented and discussed.

Tracey is Chief Engineering Officer at Telgian Engineering & Consulting. Tracey Bellamy has nearly 35 years experience in fire protection engineering. He has extensive experience with fire suppression system design, fire hazard analysis and fire protection system inspection and testing. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in 49 U.S. states and is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) and Certified Water Based System Professional (CWBSP). He serves on several NFPA technical and correlating committees including NFPA 1, 11, 13, 15, 25, 30, 30B, 101 and 5000 (building code) and is a major contributor to the NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 Handbooks as well as the NFPA Fire Protection Handbook.
